CampusIf you are thinking of studying a course at Trinity, there’s a number of ways in which you can find out more about us.

Open days and visits

We invite all enquirers to attend the Open Days held in the Autumn and Summer terms. These will give you a chance to find out about the courses, talk to academic staff and the Student Services team, as well as to view our facilities during a tour of the campus. If you can’t come to the Open Day, we’ll arrange an individual visit for you and your family at a mutually convenient time.

Schools and colleges liaison

Trinity is a member of HELOA - the Higher Education Liaison Officers Association and therefore we are in regular contact with our colleagues in other universities and colleges in the UK. We aim to provide a professional advice service that considers your needs and career aspirations. Our recruitment team regularly attends mock interviews and careers events organised by schools and colleges, as well as many of the UCAS regional events. We also attend the careers events held each Autumn in Dublin and Cork. We provide a comprehensive support service for schools and colleges which includes arranging course-specific Study Days for students in years 12 & 13, subject specific lectures by academic staff, as well as general talks on other issues affecting the choice of HE course, for example:

  • Planning Your Career
  • Choosing the Right Course/University or College
  • How to Complete a UCAS Form
  • Study Skills - The Expectation at University
  • Financing Higher Education - Be Aware!

Trinity works in partnership wich Schools and Colleges to benefit students and staff - ask for details.

Students Trinity offers a range of services to encourage young people and mature students to consider applying to university. These services include providing Taste of Uni Days where our Student Ambassadors and staff provide an insight into life as a university student, as well as mentoring days and information sessions for parents and teachers. We are members of the South West Wales Reaching Wider Partnership and work with schools and communities in Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire to raise awareness and widen access to higher education. In addition, we are developing a range of services for schools and colleges in the area, including advice and guidance sessions for teachers and parents.
